a child and the night!!

Night..
with its lofty foot steps
comes and wakes up
the sleeping child

Night
shows him
the dark sky
it had spread

Night
shows him
the moon smiling
and the stars grinning

Sleepy child
rubs his eyes
tries to stay awake
with his curious eyes drooping!!

Falls asleep, he
still with a smile
on his innocent face

Night,
kisses him good bye
and goes away with his dark blanket
giving him yet another day, to play, and smile!!
